Ayah turned 80

we had a mini celebration on the day itself which was on 12 Nov 2019, at Fish Manhattan Restaurant in Wangsa Walk Mall.

we always have makan2 or big party when we celebrate our birthdays. it is a good excuse to have a good gathering within the family members. when we get extra excited we tend to extend the invitation to our relatives as well. this year ayah turns 80 and earlier, of course we wanted a big party for ayah, spending extra together with the relatives and get a good musician to perform. however, along the way, i dont know whose idea it was but it was a brilliant idea that we just keep to Kalam Clan only - and of course exceptional for AH. as somehow or rather he has been accepted to be a Kalam Clan member, although still sort of unofficial. 😊 ihik... kira on probation lah ni. 

and actually most thanks to N1 for sponsoring the venue and main dish, N2 (that's me 😋) sponsored the t-shirts for N1 and parents while N3 and N4 together with Marissa & Kelly co-organised the games for Telematch. we stayed at Serinity at PD from 15 to 18 Nov 2019. but since AH just finished his course on the 15th, we went on the 16th, that is on saturday. the bungalow is huge. just nice for all of us actually except that for me, i shared the room with Idz's nanny, joey and AH slept at the AV room aka karaoke room. i sang till my voice became husky. i tell you, the songs list are from the 60s to 80s! lagu baru memang la tak de. tak pasal2 jugak joey sang lagu my way! 😂

cuaca memang panas kat PD so bila tengah panas, we lepak in the house, karaokeing or sleeping. bila dah petang baru we gathered at the play area in the house compound for the telematch. telematch was supposed to be on saturday but most of us end up sleeping, and ayah went fishing with imran, so we had to postpone to sunday morning. that saturday night N1 got herself confused with the menu - so the BBQ last2 tak jadi, end up jadi dinner biasa tapi sedap je. and malam tu jugak la we cut the cake. theme for the party was 'park rangers' ada jugak yang nak jadik power rangers, nasib baik idea tu kena cantas awal2... 😋

i am so glad that AH blends in well with the Kalam Clan, i hope he will remain like that or not, be better in the future, insyaAllah. nanti the next post aku akan cerita pasal the stay pulak - boleh buat review. oh by the way, we got attacked by monkeys on sunday tu. tengah kitorang syok2 relaks, monyet pun bergumbira kat dapur masuk through tingkap.

so kitorang punya activities were eating, playing telematch,  karaoke, swimming at the pool and makan. on sunday petang tu we went to teluk kemang for tea, lepas tu N4 sibuk nak tengok sunset walaupun ditentang oleh mama sebab idriz is too young to be out during maghrib. hehehe tapi tak pe, kita doa yang baik2 je ye. 

sorry la posting ni berkecamuk sikit, sebab macam banyak nak cerita tapi time sangat limited - gitu. so i just cerita je lah yang mana teringat sebab macam excited and best. yang tak bestnya - ada post holiday syndrome. jadik lemau nak pi kerja, and start dah rindu kat AH. 

Short Getaway Part II

masa aku attend one training, we were taught to think of something that make us happy or will make us happy to go through the day. so this is one of my happy thoughts for me today lah. throwback sikit. i don't know why la but nowadays jarang pulak aku nak cerita pasal AH kan. bukan apa, kang orang kata over exposed, belum ada apa2 dah nak tayang2 the emotion. although most of the time i don't give a shite about what people think lah kan.

but that weekend we traveled back to his hometown. betullah kadang2 kita cakap, or most of the time kita cakap kita plan tapi Allah yang tentukan. so that was what happened. masa aku pergi singapore hantar Lisa tu, aku rasa macam baik i take the opportunity to actually use up my long leave and pergi masuk pulau tioman since dari singapore 'nampak' macam dekat and mudah kan. ye lah, pergi je la jetty mersing yang aku ingat macam dekat tapi i think about 4 hours jugak dari singapore. chit... and aku yang tak suka nak travel naik bas, konon nak cari private chauffer, mengada je kan.. harus lah mahal.

jadi serabut plan aku, coz asalnya dari tioman tu, masa balik kl boleh la tumpang AH sebab he was going back to his hometown kat mersing. last2 bila pening2 AH kata balik je la kl balik... which tu la yang aku buat and end up aku ikut AH balik mersing dari kl.

so we took the kuantan route, and i thought i could visit my uncle kat sana tapi disebabkan jam, we had to proceed terus ke mersing. memang la perjalanan tu jauh but when you enjoy the companionship, semua ok jer. and tak de lah macam rigid sangat journey tu.

sampai mersing dah nak senja around almost 7pm. i took a room kat airbnb. korang boleh baca posting aku yang ni. Short getaway  then AH terus balik rumah parents dia. malam tu was going to be my 1st time jumpa AH's parents, well actually jumpa balik. masa betul2 1st time dulu we were just friends kiranya, now dah someone special to each other. cheyywah... #silajanganmuntah! 😜korang rasa aku rasa macamana? cuak tak?

hahahaha 😂 mau idak..tapi time tu aku pun sort of like pasrah je, kalau diorang terima aku, alhamdulillah. kalau tak, aku nak buat macamana kan. aku pun choosy jugak dengan pilihan Lisa or Joey as their partners. aku faham, parents will want what is best for their children. tak kisah lah umur anak tu dah berapa pun but parents still feel itu lah anak and they care. so i just leave it to Allah. kalau ada jodoh aku dengan AH, insyaallah his parents terima.

dont want to kill the suspense but everything went well. alhamdulillah. i feel like my presence are welcomed. cuma kesian weekend tu AH's mom was not well. i also got the chance to visit AH's parents' home and makan nasi goreng air fryer yang AH's dad buat. memang sampai ke hari ni aku teringat and i so wanna get myself an air fryer. bukan apa, nasi goreng tu tak oily. and aku tambah 2 kali hokeh! tak malu kan.. but tak pe lah, aku dengan AH je kat dapur masa tu... his parents kat depan and his brother masih tido kut dalam bilik.. ihik 😂

kat mersing AH and is twin brother bawak lah aku round2 yang sebelum ni aku cuma tau jetty mersing je. tak pernah pun terfikir ada township kat mersing. jakun betul aku kan... kekeke 😂 and one of our activity is settling my hareth... siapa tu? kereta aku lah. dah lama rasa nak polish and AH pernah kata kalau nak polish kat bengkel adik dia. so tercapai lah plan tu. wahh dah macam kereta baru pulak hareth ni. so itu je lah yang aku buat masa kat mersing. dapat round2 kat tepi jalan tepi pantai jugak. it was freaking hot okay kat sana.. agaknya sebab tepi pantai kut... hehehe salah ke teori aku? ok lah... dah pukul 2.35am ni... signing off dulu ok.

EMCEE for the Day: Awareness & Benefits of Co-generation Workshop

actually i should be thankful to my boss for nominating me as one of the participants/volunteers as committee. to be honest, when i first attended the meeting, i was quite intimidated by the attendees. ye lah, semua macam dah experienced jer and ala2 bosses level. nasib baik lah ada MS and mamat ni jenis sempoi and happy go lucky je. dulu masa mula kena mamat ni, dia ni pendiam. maklum lah baru being transferred to our company. rupanya bila dah biasa, sempoi jugak dia ni and jenis suka tolong orang. 

so one after another, memang aku agak blur tapi so far aku try not to miss the meeting. i love doing events. for this workshop kitorang cuma tolong2 je. and aku tak lah faham sangat pasal co-gen ni. but when the time comes to agih2kan duty for the event, dengan selambanya aku offer diri as the emcee. 

the last time i became an emcee was when we had a reunion for divers somewhere last year. itu pun bidan terjun. sejarah jadi emcee ni, was at dinner functions and also wedding. so when the task keluar i took the opportunity to offer myself. mula2 tu memang la gabra but dah lama sikit tu okay jer. 

muka2 participants memang agak tegang sebab maybe event ni pun agak serious and quite technical. aku tak la faham mana but ada la kutip ilmu sikit. and yang best bila lepas ni, sesiapa nak service emcee for your events, boleh la pm sis ok 😁 rate kawan2 jerss... aku tengok rate depa ni kat internet, fuh dahsyat2, takut aku tengok. tapi kalau you all nak emcee yang sempoi, nothing fancy, boleh la pm sis. 😁

the day before the event i dropped by at concorde hotel to meet up with the main organiser. i get to go through the script and did a round of sound check. when i got home, cleaned up the script and make sure i get them all organised for the next day. siap beli top blazer baru ok.. half sponsored by AH. hehehe 😀tq sayang 😘 reason for buying - malas nak cakap sini. but already told AH, i am going to get the pants as well next sebab lagi senang bila ada sepasang.

i am thankful to Dr Ros and team for giving us another opportunity this year to perform and lead the ZUMBA session during their Finale, closing of HKL Pink October 2019. i am going to be okay by october, insyallah. maybe i won't be able to do as many songs but i will arrange in such a way that i will get to team up with the whole AKO Fitness team member and create a memory. 

this year, AKO Fitness will be bringing Abang Manzale who will be coming back to Malaysia in October. So for fans of abang Manzale, please get your tickets fast by 7th Sepetember 2019! HKL needs ample time to print your tshirts.

Lima2019 Experience

it was a last minute decision. i have always wanted to go to LIMA event but didnt have the chance to go. i guess those times the reasons were not strong enough? and when AH told me that he gets shore leave for 3 days, i just decide to go since i am getting so stressed in KL anyway. i need my positive and good vibes 😜 😎 and the truth is i really miss him a lot or rather we miss each other a lot. it was tough getting a place to stay. hotels' rates are getting ridiculously expensive so we sorted it out by getting a homestay for the 5 of us.

it was hot and talking about the weather and the men in uniform..but i have my own man in uniform 😉 . masa mula2 sampai tu memang agak terkesima jugak la tengok ramai pulak guys in armed forces uniform. tapi takat tengok gitu2 je lah. hehehe 😁 coz masa tu dah excited nak jumpa AH. he arrived with DL in a rented car, first time naik mitsubishi mirage. ok gak lah. kereta biasa je. 

malam tu memang meriah makannya. aku dah fikir i am on holiday so belasah je. i had my sup ekor and ordered sotong goreng tepung to be shared berlima, itu pun tak habis. 

lepas dinner we went back to our homestay sebab nak keluar balik looking for live band. malangnya tak de pun live band kat tempat2 yang kitorang cari. end up joining the guys at mali mali beach bar layan music while they drink and aku buat activity people watching while drinking my mango juice.

the next day we went to mahsuri international exhibition centre and the guys used their work id to get a pass while i get to use their other official pass. hehehe 😁 bangga kejap terasa maritime officer.. tettt.. 

best dapat naik kapal terbang tudm. nak naik yang US air force tapi tak sempat sebab dah 4.30pm by then. dah nak totop. aku dengan AH mampu ambik gambar dari luar je. 

it was tiring tapi aku seronok sebab dapat spend time dengan AH and waktu berlalu begitu pantas. his team members pun lawak jugak.. those guys are cool to hang out with. would be fun to have the chance to do this again. 

friday came when i had to leave for KL. sebenarnya posting ni banyak aku lompat2 sebab penat type pakai hp. 😂 next postings aku cerita pasal homestay pulak (kalau ada mood eh).

aku termiss flight... end up took another flight.. and delayed 3 times! ehh aku boleh claim kan? 😂 sat.. nanti nak try. 

maldives here i come

the destination that i have always been thinking of since years ago. during the earlier years, i would think, can i afford to go there? but after many years later... when at least i can afford to go there,  next question came up was, whom do i go there with? will someone bring me there for honeymoon? perrghhh.. berangann tahap dewa! but, people say berangan tu free. well, that angan2 did not come fully true though. it comes true just not the whole of to the level of honeymoon lah kan... hik hik hik 😂 maybe even better for me at the moment. i will be going there for my diving trip with a group of fun people i knew during the Tenggol trip. 3 jejaka ganteng... hehehehe 😂 i think i will have fun over there ngeeeee... 😂nampak tak sengih dah sampai ke telinga tu? 

am i scared? well, it is more of nervous. so this weekend while i planned for refresher course for joey, i am taking the opportunity to get comfortable with SA's BCD that i borrow for the trip.. (yeah, mine kaput already). and also just needs more practice. 

by now the Maldives Group Chat dah start sharing pictures and discuss on certain things about the trip. buat masa ni aku lebih suka mendiamkan diri... perghhh drama sangat... and just watch the group or the members of the group. aku baru nak warm up engine kut. we do have another Maldives Group Chat created by TK but yang tu pun kadang2 je aku bersuara.

so next is for me to prepare all the medication needed. mana la tau kan.. aku punya anxiety attack datang kang.. naya pulak.. and ubat mabuk pun kena ada. 8 hari atas kapal kut.. and this is my first time. suspen and excited at the same time. apa2 pun, aku akan bawak lappy aku, untuk aku blogging. kalau tak de internet you all kena sabar je lah ye. maybe aku akan sediakan scheduled posting untuk you all punya reading pleasure.

will there be another interesting story while i am there like tenggol here i come? i dont know.. hehehe 😂 kang korang kutuk aku pulak kata aku gatal. hik hik.. 😂 okay lah... korang layan dulu gambar2 yang ada ni. ini pun divers dari chat group yang hantar and share. gambar yang sebenar kena la tunggu sis dah sampai situ and ambik gambar nanti ye.

jungle tracking experience

i am not sure if i wanna call it jungle tracking or hiking. or it can be called both or whatever. what happened was we wanted to do trial discovery scuba for KC but unfortunately due to her having asthma we could not continue. 

so what else can we do to fill up another about 4 hours that we have before sun sets? 

we went back to the room to freshen up, solat and got ready for the jungle tracking.

berangan nak pergi sampai monkey beach but after panuba beach, the 15 mins walking up and down the jungle tracking we decided not to continue. kat dalam hutan tu dengar bunyi macam2 aku dah gerun. at first after the 5 minutes in aku dah nak patah balik but KC feels we can just continue so yeah we did. aku doa sepanjang jalan supaya Allah permudahkan the tracking and alhamdulillah terasa ringan pulak lutut aku ni. thanks to RE too for the tips that he said to follow electric cable 😂

as soon as we reach panuba resort, we took some photos and decided to jalan balik. on the way back tu i put on some zumba songs and by the time 5 songs ended we reached back at ABC beach.

conclusionnya, jungle tracking/hiking is NOT my thing.  

btw korang tunggu sambungan "tenggol here i come kan?" hehehe 😁 yang itu nanti eh sebab kena feel baru boleh sambung. jemput singgah lagi sini tau!

ice breaking session:

since my BCD kaput, i had to rent one from the dive centre. sampai2 je kat jetty tu, i went to the store with SA to get a BCD. of course i wish i had my own tapi tak pe lah maybe tak de rezki la tu. nak beli baru pun belum tentu akan dive selalu. 

kitorang semua berkumpul kat tepi and starting to know each other better - so yeah he was there too

of course with his usual smile and there is something about him that just attracts me. maybe his quietness and being observant? tapi tak boleh la pandang lama2 sangat pun. sah2 orang punya.. tettt...

macam biasa la kan... posing gambar memang lebih2 lagi2 si LS ni.. hahhaha dia ni memang. tapi bagus jugak la banyak la gambar kitorang yang you all boleh tengok. nanti final part aku share link to the whole album.

so our boat came, and kitorang gang mak jemah pun naik lah boat tu macam bersemangat ni nak naik kapal maritim. ye lah kan ingat senang ke nak dapat the opportunity. dalam boat just kitorang 5 orang je la yang ala2 kecoh dok ambik gambar lah ambik video lah.. and bila nampak je betapa besarnya kapal maritim tu, terus excited! dah terbayang dah... mat mat sado kat atas tu... **sambil urut2 dada - sabar ain ** kih kih kih 😂 again, jangan la marah.. sah2 semua pangkat2 adik kut.. tapi tak per .. bukan depa tau pun umur aku berapa khennnn...

yeah thats me lah, happy2 je kalau pi mana2 or buat apa2 coz i wanna enjoy life (tanpa melanggar batas lebih kurang la) lagi pun ini kan short break yang di nanti2. somehow aku dah rasa that excitement. bila dah dekat, nampak dah guys kat tepi2 kapal tu. adehh la... cair kejap weh.. 

and aku rasa sekarang his group and our group memang sort of dah bergabung dah. well, they are nice people which i will never know if we will meet again or the friendship continues after the trip kan. 

dah macam jakun wehh naik kapal besar... terasa macam aku pulak polis kat situ.. heh.. entah maybe sebab dulu pun berangan nak jadi polis kan tapi tak boleh. dalam kapal tu pun kitorang macam boleh sesat. brader2 atas kapal tu semua muka serious - well majority lah. so aku pun tak tau nak act macamana. nak senyum lebih2 kang depa ingat aku gatal pulak - padahal aku ni memang pemurah bab2 senyuman or more to sengih lah. and bila dah kenal aku friendly je. 

kitorang masuk kat area yang ada kerusi meja. first thing yang aku ingat masa tu is cerita pulang. "macam ni rupanya kerja atas kapal eh", bisik hati aku. cheywah... macam drama 😋 masa tu aku belum tau fungsi maritime officers ni apa eh. aku ingatkan diorang is police marine. ye lah mana la aku tau.. 

segala ceruk kut kitorang masuk, aku masuk dapur macam rumah sendiri dah sebab bancuh kopi.. hahaha ehh bukan bancuh, tambah air panas sebab manis sangat. itu lah breakfast aku kopi o cicah biskut.

TENGGOL HERE I COME (PART 3)

nak jugak lah cerita kisah malam tadi sikit. ha korang mesti sibuk nak tau gossip pasal someone yang catch my attention tu kan? hehehe 😀 sabar, sabar. well, last night after all the registration, we were hungry and all the fuss about nasi goreng sotong or something was lingering around. usually i don't eat that late, yes i am trying to cut down my rice intake after 8pm sort of. nanti korang dah berumur macam aku korang tau lah. 😋 anyway, aku follow je yang lain. and i tell you the nasi goreng was really sedap BUT, i shared the portion with LS although i know sure minah tu tak cukup makan nasi separuh. hahahah 😜 but hey, we are helping each other right?

and the another interesting thing that happened was, i met YS who is also a dance fitness instructor. she came to my studio 2 years ago during an event. and i saw her posting her dive trips quite often, lepas tu bila jumpa malam tu aku plak lebih2 excited. hehehe 😊ye lah jumpa gang same industry kut, measti mesti la happy. so we had a lil chat catching up on things and our classes. and tak lama after that our food arrives.. and walla.. memang lazat!! kalau ikut nafsu, aku tambah, tapi bila fikir wet suit aku, ku tahan kan nafsu kuda ku itu! 😁

and i can't remember what time we went back to our resort. it was quite late i think. we all got so excited so we prepare all our equipment and wet suit on our bed 😝

good nite every one... haish tak sabarnya nak tunggu hari esok.. nervous pun ye.. simply because my last dive was 2 years ago! yang lain2 memang nampak pro giler kut. i aja acah2 pro, buat muka konfiden tapi dalam hati, Allah je yang tahu. 

dive @ tenggol: 15 Sept - 17 Sept 2018

this time, without thinking too long i just said yes to my colleague when i get to know that he is organizing dive programme during malaysia day. my last dive was in 2016 and it was a working dive trip to pulau mentinggi, i think.. or was it pulau babi besar? and after that i had a studio to run and my classes. my diving was last in my priority list.

1) it is an expensive sport,
2) its tough to look for replacement for my classes - sort of.

so i took the package with 2 dives only since it is the only amount that i am willing to spend on. without knowing, i had to spend more because... my BCD was kaput, needed to send my regulator for service, my dive com kaput.. etc etc.. so yeah.. it is an expensive sports.

i was nervous since i did not do refresher session before this dive. sshhh 👀 nevertheless i was looking forward for something that i have not done for a really long time. pray for my safety... please.. hahaha :D

when i first saw this challenge, it was from what is that guy's name? izani something.. sorry la sis tak berapa kenal artis2 baru sekarang ni. hehehe :D and my thought was, ni dah kenapa pi keluar kereta pastu menari macam tu.. kan ke bahaya..  then after that baru lah i stumbled upon a few other instagram account who did the same and when i saw the # then i realized, it is a challenge rupanya.

haha kinda cute looking at these people doing the challenge. mecam terdetik jugak nak buat the challenge but with the current condition.. hemmm memang tak lah kut 😛 but i must tell you, the ig belongs to Siti Sarah is my fav for #kekechallenge, korang must see!! and effortless cute!
