Idriz Bday Party

N4 booked an airbnb homestay for idriz 7th bday party. Theme was pakai askar.. homestay memang best, spacious, byk bilik and memang idriz happy lah. 

And our cucu was there too. Kalau dgn sm mmg half day tu tak puas. I get to hold him lama today. He slept in my arms for about 45minutes.

We were at the party from 2.25pm until 6.45pm sebab ada meeting to attend. Tunggu la nanti kalau dah dapat gambar bday boy lagi, i will update this posting. 

And ohh seperti biasa N1 and her durians.. beli sampai 3 pack besar.. tapi dia makan sikit 😆 alhamdulillah thank you belanja durian.

Weekend Surprise

We were supposed to go to my cousin's son's wedding when suddenly hubby said that cancel the plan coz he needs to go to Kuantan. So i thought it was an emergency work thingy..when it was actually his father, was admitted to the hospital.

So I said "ok we go Kuantan. How many days should we pack for?" 

"3 days" he said. We did a pit stop to meet up with my new tenant. Yes alhamdulillah we have a new tenant for my apartment. Then after lunch we proceed to Kuantan. We wanted to arrive just in time for visiting hours.

Alhamdulillah, it wasn't serious. My father in law had high bp due to his stomach pain. At first they suspected heart attack. 

So we were there for the discharge processes. And check in for a night at the hotel in Kuantan to rest. The next day we send my father in law to Pondok Warga Emas Nur Iman for his stay there. He registered himself there to make new friends and re-learn Quran reciting.

Cats Kibbles

Today TH bought 15kg kibbles for Merlin & Magnus. We decided to go for Reflex Plus - Salmon for their skin & fur.

Since Magnus is still in recovery for his fur, I have been applying Minyak Kelapa Dara that I bought from TT. And alhamdulillah looks like his fur is getting longer and has slowly grown back.

When we first brought Merlin & Magnus home, they have been eating Glory Cat kibbles from their previous Mommi. We decided to change it to Royal Canin & Purina. Both of them are not picky eaters, so it was easy for trial and error. After that we tried Reflex Plus and they love it too. Honestly it is quite pricey but this is what we both decided to commit for. Of course before changing to other brands, we still mix with Glory Cat kibbles so that M² get used to the old and new kibbles. Today is the last 1kg of Glory Cat 😁 that we have in store for them. 

And Mischa, for now she eats Royal Canin & Purina, and she doesn't eat as much as Merlin & Magnus, so for her it is still affordable. Maybe I can try and bring some HeyFur treats for Mischa and see if she likes it. Mischa is a picky eater and she has sensitive stomach, so for me to change her kibbles it could be a waste of money if she doesn't like it. But alhamdulillah now Mischa is ok with Purina One and or Royal Canin indoor.

I have yet to do a full calculation of our cost for having 3 furbabies. 😁 Maybe we should 😅 last time it was just Mischa, but now we have Merlin & Magnus too 😝

Bosan Ke?

Diorang ni yang sebenarnya buat hidup tak tenteram. 😆 hari ni lepas bawak diorang jalan² petang, balik rumah lapar. So aku bagi treats 2 sachets. Magnus la yang selalu laju kalau makan treats. Sekarang Merlin baru belajar makan kuat sikit tapi lebih berhemah la dari Magnus 😂

Tadi aku mandi lepas balik dinner kat luar and hasrat di hati nak bukak laptop buat kerja tapi ya Allah malas tu lebih kuat. Lepas tu terdetik nak tengok diorg kat cctv.. alahai.. sedihnya 😅😅 haa macam ni la diorg.. tunggu je kat pintu sebab aku lalu lalang luar bilik diorang. Aduhai... should i let them out? Tapi dah malam pun.. tido la boys.. 1030pm dah ni 😆

Happy Birthday To Me 20 July 2025

on this day, i was upset with TH. actually i have been upset with him for various reasons and i just couldn't be bothered to ask or to tell him. i have not been really speaking with him and i guess this is our first kinda me feeling so upset and sad actually with him after our so many years of relationship. 

so anyway, i woke up receiving this message from TH and well, it was kinda sweet and made me chuckle a bit. my heart still sore but aah what the heck it is my birthday. i should be happy. But, I cannot la.. it hurts me too much that I just couldn't make myself to have the happy mood even if it is on my own birthday day. In the car on the way to N4's house, TH gave me a birthday present, a gold pendant from Habib. It was so lovely, I am happy with the present... but..

The breakfast at N4, it was so really nicely done and prepared. had everyone there except N1's family but it's ok. the spread was so nice, food was yummy, simple and intimate. Thank you so much N4.. urmm the chef was pacik actually 😁

after lunch everyone went back feeling stuffed.. errmm what did i do ah after that? oohh i was supposed to attend MTL at Publika but somehow when we were already on the way, event has started and we (N3 and I) didn't wanna be late so we detoured and went to AEONAU2 for groceries shopping instead.

Later that night, I wanted to have shellambak for dinner but unfortunately Shellambak was closed on Sunday so I told TH and Joey that I wanna go to Taman Rimba Ampang for dinner. I shared the Shellout with Joey and yey there was busking there and we stayed until about 10ish. Food was yummy, love the ambience and music. 

Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah swt for another year wiser, please grant me good health and functional years ahead of me. Giving me and my family wealth would be great too 😁  Thank you for such a lovely family #gratitude

shellout at Taman Rimba Ampang

Happy 1 month Merlin Magnus

Today marks 1 month Merlin & Magnus with us. So far they have been such lovely boys. We are still learning about them trying to understand their behavior. 1 and a half week ago, one of them peed on our comforter, luckily I realized soon enough, and it has not reached our mattress yet, just the protector. So, both of them are grounded from lepakking in our bedroom without supervision after that incident 😁

For now we are still exploring which kibbles to give them. Alhamdulillah both of them are not picky eaters 😁bagi la apa2 pun, habis je. Our concern now is their full vaccination and also to grow back their fur. Merlin will be getting his 2nd shot tomorrow and for Magnus it is his 1st shot. Actually they were vaccinated in Sept 2023 or was it 2024? For cats, they should go for 2 vaccines at least and then once annually.  But since there wasn't any follow up, we had to restart. 

Our main focus are on their adaptation to their new home, reduce their stress, gain their trust and regrow their fur. When we brought them home, we gave them what Mischa is having, mixed of RC, TOTW & Purina Indoor. But somehow since we also want to treat their fur growth, we are trying a new brand kibbles called Dilly Dally. Let's see for the next 2 months if they get better with this brand. Price is ok at RM29.40 (1kg) RM242 (10kg) 

Kalau nak murah kena beli kat shopee lah, 1kg baru dalam RM21++ insyallah next purchase tau dah mana nak dapat murah lagi. 

Anak bulus dah ramai, mak pak kena pandai cari mana nak beli with lower price hahha without compromising their health. 😂

As for their daily habits, they understand that they have to be in their room at night or when we are not at home. Dah memang rumah ni, 1 room dedicated for our furbabies. Dulu time Mischa stays here, rasa tak fully used pun since Mischa is more free to roam around our house and she sleeps anywhere.

But with the boys, kena ajar awal2 and so far they are obedient. Merlin has been exploring the whole house. Magnus is still scared, he keeps himself on top floor. Tak apa, slow2 okay sayang. We both love you very much.

Mama dah ngantuk ni, nak kena tido dah... Pak hang awal2 lagi dah masuk bilik 😛 ye lah esok dia kena fly kut. Ini pun TH tak berapa sihat.. dok batuk la selsema lah.

Ni tadi masuk bilik diorang nak ambik gambar kibbles tapi masing2 dok posing bila I wanna take their photos. Tau2 je kan nak posing.

Welcome Home Merlin & Magnus

Merlin - Abang | Magnus - Adik

It all started when I saw a pawrent's plead on thread apps. I am new on thread, and somehow I find a lot of stories on cats. Semenjak Mischa tak nak balik to our home in SP, memang aku rasa sunyi and rindu. Rindu Mischa yang akan ikut aku kemana2 aku pergi. Tapi aku tak boleh selfish, Mischa stress di SP and she is much happier kat RGE. Tak apa lah, ada sebab kenapa Allah gerakkan hati Joey untuk balik ke rumah after graduation, maybe one of the reasons, untuk jaga Mischa sama2. 

Last week I saw someone posted about having to let their cats to be adopted. I have been wanting to add another family member in our home tapi I was not sure. Dah banyak kali nampak lalu lalang about adoption. Yes, I am a person who doesn't believe in buying cats, tak kisah lah expensive breed atau domestic. Some people buy cats for business to breed, or image, or status. After having Mischa, I didn't think that I would want to adopt/rescue more but entahlah, bila tengok gambar2 these 2, memang rasa terpanggil untuk connect with the pawrent. 

Aku takut nak janji sebab kena tanya TH dulu. Kalau dulu, kami risau Mischa jealous tapi sekarang Mischa happy2 je kat RGE.. 😸So, aku beranikan diri untuk slow talk dengan TH. Alhamdulillah TH agree, aku pun tak tau dia rela hati ke paksa rela sebab nak happykan isteri dia ni 😂 apa2 pun thank you TH. 

So semalam bila dapat connect dengan pawrent, aku terus set appointment untuk jemput the 2 boys. Memang pawrent sedih, sampai menangis teresak2 and aku faham sebab aku pun nangis masa nak balik SP sebab Mischa tak nak ikut, ini kan terpaksa give them away to a stranger di atas sebab2 kesihatan. And aku tahu kesukaran untuk buat decision tu. But jangan risau because kami akan sayang Merlin & Magnus because mereka adalah anak2 kami sekarang, family member baru and we will love them macamana kami sayang anak2 kami yang lain. 💓and anytime nak visit, bagitau je. We have no problem.

Lepas jemput Merlin & Magnus, kami bawa ke 5Paws Cat Hotel & Spa untuk mandikan and arrange for vaccination. They were good boys dalam kereta, nampak takut and that is normal tapi not as bad as Mischa. Sampai je kat 5Paws seperti biasa, Teja yang paling friendly and sambut. Warna bulu diorang sama dengan Dara one of our resident cats. Nak angkat cage memang maha berat ye.. mau dalam 10kg kut sekali dengan cage. I took a trolley tapi bunyi roda dia bising, kesian diorang lagi kalut. So apa lagi, mama pun beli lah pet trolley carrier yang ada roda. Dah teringin lama nak beli yang macam tu, tapi belum ada alasan yang kuat 😋

Great Weekend and My Tiny Home Dream

Dah macam post holiday mood rasanya. My parents beriyer sangat nak tido kampong. So N1 booked a homestay in Ijok, Kuala Sgor. Although my mom pm'd me and ask if I wanna join for sleep over, tak berani nak confirm because tak sure if TH wanna sleep over. Ye lah i pun tak tau how he feels about my kg kan. Although he is on leave, he might have his own thing that he wants to do.

Anyway on Friday itself tiba² TH dapat tau dia off day. I have done my invoices sampai settle Jan 2025. So lepas tu memang bosan giler mengadap ceiling 😂

End up I looked at waze and check the distance from our home to the homestay. Ohh tak jauh pun.. 29 min jer 😅😅 so took the courage to ask TH if we can join my parents and N3's family.

So I filled up Mischa's food for 1 night and a bit more.. and off we go. To cut story short, we end up 2 nights at the kg, sampai memang i keep on checking Mischa's kibbles on cctv till the last piece. Hehee sian Mischa puasa kejap la pagi ahad tu. 

Yaya had fun fishing with my dad. Seronok tengok Yaya so happy. My dad pun happy la ada cucu teman dia mancing.

Bila dah tengok pengusaha homestay macam tempat we stayed tu, start la berangan and i asked a lot about how much he invested to have such a comfortable house. Just nice lah the size. 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, a yard at the back to dry clothes and also cute size of dining area and living area.

But if I have the cash to do one, i would build like a country home. Well actually I have already have in mind that my apartment in Setiawangsa, I want to redo the apartment coz I felt like the kitchen is too long and waste of space 😆.

I can't sleep so I am updating this posting. The above posting was posted using my phone. So now I am using the laptop. 

The last night in kampong, my mom and aunt decided to have dinner at Kolam Pancing Mile 7, Ijok, Kuala Selangor. Actually kesian jugak dekat Yaya sebab petang tu dia mancing tak dapat ikan, mancing kat parit depan rumah arwah Wak Mos (my dad's older brother). But somehow, Yaya ni kan is so positive. She was sad but she said, "It's okay, tak ada rezeki"

But ye la, budak, kan. So I told her that during dinner she can try to mancing udang galah pulak. She was excited again. But I reminded her that fishing ni, kadang dapat, kadang tak dapat, so she kena chill la. 😁 And she was. 

That night, sekejap-sekejap TH temankan, then my dad. Somehow, TH pun rajin jugak temankan Yaya kat tepi kolam tu. And sekali sekala, he took over the fishing rod.

Malam tu pun Yaya tak dapat udang, except 1 yang atok tangkap pakai tangan je sebab udang tu dah kat tepi kolam je.😂

Bila dah balik rumah sendiri that Sunday morning, terus terasa macam post holiday syndrome. Padahal dekat je pun dalam 30minit dari rumah sendiri. 😁

Joey's Grad Photoshoot at Suafoto, Wangsa Maju

i love photoshoots, and the last minute thingy end up with us having fun at Suafoto, Wangsa Maju. i wanted to have KalamsClan photoshoot just like what we had for Lisa. But again to get everyone, not as easy, and Joey was telling me, the photos that we took on the day of graduation were good enough. i was a bit frustrated but it's okay. my kids are all grown up. not everything that a mom would want aligns with what they want. so yeah.. i make peace 😂 i am grinning as i type this.. macam mengada je sedihnya kan.

anyway, suddenly last night joey texted me and asked, 

"mama nak photoshoot? i woke up late and i still have not returned my robe yet" 

dengan sepantas kilat i answered his text,

"nak!!!"

so, i found this place, when i was searching for photoshoot near me. not bad jugak and it wasn't expensive. we took the lowest package, ingatkan tak cukup masa, but end up cukup je with 65 photos. seronok jugak and might wanna go there again someday. 

we were given a room with all the photography facilities, and we were given the remote to control the camera. next time can do better la sebab cara nak click remote tu pun ada cara supaya gambar sharper, tak de la waste time and photos. kiranya it focus better lah, macam tu.

Congrats Joey!! 14th Convo Ceremony - Uni of Cyberjaya

hari yang di nanti2, alhamdulillah so happy when joey [Degree in Psychology] finally informed us his graduation date. we had to organise with his dad in seating arrangement, macam biasa lah, kat malaysia ni seats akan dapat 2 sahaja. so TH dgn KK sat in the guest room to watch live online. 

seperti biasa juga, my parents do not want to miss this special moment to celebrate with their grandson. joey terharu tengok nenek datang juga sampai menangis. and that night we had our family dinner to celebrate joey's graduation at Rebung 2, Putrajaya. was a good decision, tempat spacious, choice of food banyak, and selesa untuk warga emas juga. alhamdulillah. we booked 2 tables memang cukup for all of us. 

kalau nak share semua gambar2 sini memang jadi albumlah blog i, so kita choose the best ye. congrats joey, mama is so proud of your determination despite lots of things happening in your life. love you! 

semoga lebih success in the future selama-lamanya. insyaallah, ameen

Happy Birthday Ayah :)

ayah turned 85 on 12 November. and this time kunun nak celebrate ramai2 tapi the main adalah for ayah. N4 chosed the place sebab dia yang mahir bab2 cari restoran yang sesuai. i am so glad Joey joined us for the dinner. Alhamdulillah he is more free now selepas grad. i always love family dinner/gathering and walaupun sekarang ni memang semakin payah to get everyone sebab masing2 dah besar, banyak clash dengan their activities. so mana yang dapat, kena redha je. 

makan kat restoran ni memang sedap, its like you kena bayar per head, tapi the appetizers free flow. and most of us memang enjoyed the appetizers! hahah 😃

next time ada masa i akan buat review the place ye. dah lama tak buat review restoran kan. macam tak terkejar dah, banyak sangat business nya yang buat. hehe alhamdulillah.
