ni semua gara-gara i start buat biskut raya untuk family. every day year memang i main kuih tunjuk jer. tak de masa or tak de hati pun nak buat sendiri. but somehow sebab TH punya favorite is arab suji, i decided to buat sendiri dengan my mom jadik mentor. 

aleh-aleh, tau je lah my mom kan, dia tambah, "ain buat la sekali, almond suji & kacang mazola. bahan dah siap beli!"  aku pun terus, baik lah, saya menurut perintah. somehow i find that buat biskut raya ni macam healing therapy pulak. and bila i start atur biskut raya kat my table top, my cleaners tanya if i want to sell. so secara tetiba... i buka order 😂

Raya and Wedding

Last weekend I decided to go to Banting for my niece's wedding (not close niece) I have not been to Banting for many years - simply because the journey is so long and far for Raya trip and the place is so hot. But somehow this time I feel like going. Had a lil bit of drama early morning 😁 but biasa lah kan, mana ada family yang tiada drama. 

When I reached Banting, I saw a few nice houses - people who build their house on their own land. Best ehh.. I used to have that dream. Have our own land and build our own designed home. And now I don't know if that remain to be a dream or will be a life goal. I keep on asking myself, how much time do I have, reaching this gold age. 

Anyway, the trip was good and followed by Raya at my cousin's place - Mozers! Mama and Ayah skipped these part because Mama was too tired. And her feet are swollen again. Kalau dapat kumpul2 with all cousins memang seronok. More pictures sebenarnya tapi malas nak upload.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha 2019

AH decided to celebrate hari raya with me and family in KL. i asked him if he has plans to go back to his hometown. but since the off days are short, he decided to be with me during raya aidil adha. despite me being happy coz he will be with me, i am also sad coz i don't know what was joey's plan. AH has been so sweet, and patient with me (for now - i hope he will stay like that even when we are married 😜).

N1 bought many durians on raya eve. so after we are done helping out preparing for raya, i asked AH to open up 1 durian for me. so that night from 1 durian became 3, i think. by around 9pm i was already tired and wanted to go home. actually kan, i don't know how to write about this posting. see, cakap/tulis pun macam dah tunggang terbalik. 

dah lepas makan durian tu memang aku nak balik dah.. and i was also chatting with lisa at the same time. lisa was asking me if i am going home straight soon, i told her i was. but she asked me to stay a bit since joey is on the way home already. and so i agreed. 

until it was already like almost 10.30pm. joey sent a message in the kalam clans' chat group.

and no one in kalams clan responded to those statements. i waited till joey open the car's door coz i wanted to hear how many people getting out of the car. ehh betul lah, 2 orang keluar kereta.. and seterusnya, i don't know how to cerita here. or maybe sebab it happened 2 weeks ago, dah tak semangat nak cerita dah. ok ok.. i back dated this posting. 😜 in summary, lisa made a surprise to come back for raya haji!! yey! when i get the video from my kids, i will add up to this posting.

my last minute shopping

at first tahun ni aku plan nak pakai baju2 yang buat masa N4 punya wedding. tapi malangnya baju yang aku suka tu ala2 sendat gitu 😋 so tak boleh la nak pakai and pergi beraya makan ketupat lemang dan sebagainya kan. mau habis rabak baju kebaya lace yang aku tempah jauh2 kat Bandung tuh. so first raya punya baju aku pakai baju kebaya yang aku beli online sebab aku suka sangat design shanell harun. tapi bila aku browse ig dia, rasa macam tak mampu nak pakai or beli baju semahal itu. tapi ada satu hari tu, online seller buat preorder for the baju kebaya which i automatically fell in love with. it was not the only one that i fell in love with but aku kena la pilih 1 sahaja sebab aku predict kalau lisa tengok entah2 dia nak jugak. and walaaa... seperti tekaan aku... tepat! lisa nak jugak 😅so aku beli lah jugak 2 pasang cuma agak terduduk jugak lah sebab dah lama tak spend duit banyak macam ni for sepasang baju.

and lepas tu somehow aku terasa nak shopping lagi kat primavalet yang baru bukak kat belakang rumah aku ni. after beberapa kali tunda sebab samada aku penat sangat, atau aku tertido atau sebab kena pergi terawikh.. 1 day before raya aku pergi dengan lisa. agak kecewa lah jugak bila masuk wangsa 118 tu, aku rasa tertipu pun ada jugak. all the baju raya look nice cuma sebab celebrities yang pakai, ini kesimpulan aku sendiri lah kan. sebab bila aku sampai situ, the quality macam tak sesuai dengan harga yang di jual. 

lutut aku dah rasa macam nak meletup and then somehow lisa ajak aku pergi ke ariani, next shop lot dalam mall yang sama. aku ingatkan depa jual tudung je. dalam hati aku, hemmmm lisa je lah yang dapat ni kang. but to my surprise, ada jual baju2 kurung kat dalam tu and aku pun berjaya sambar sehelai and paling best size XS lak tu... wahhh happy la sis.. tak sangka boleh muat size XS plak ye 😘

Selamat Hari Raya Cinta

alhamdulillah we meet again in 2018 for hari raya. we lost our mak long this year, and terasa jugak lah especially her house was a must during our raya tour. and this year jugak our family gets to celebrate with a new menantu, N4's hubby. they got married in march this year. kaiser came with flu and somehow cepat betul aku menjangkit flu dari dia. bukan flu je yang aku dapat, siap sore throat & batuk sekali. but raya ke2 we still went for our tour balik kampong kuala selangor and 3rd raya ke rumah our relatives area KL & Sgor. 

4th raya i am already back at work. dengan flu yang makin teruk memang agak pening kepala lah. tapi macam tak sampai hati nak biar anak2 buah sendiri.

this year first time yang aku rasa betul2 beraya tanpa fikir sesiapa special...tetttttt... walaupun di bulan ramadhan aku ada lah visit family dia and share some food and a day before raya bagi present kek victoria sandwich to his family. mungkin dalam hati aku dia special tapi dalam hati dia aku bukan sesiapa. so aku redha je lah and aku terima and yang sebaiknya aku move on bak kata orang.

wonderful weekend

wow, when was the last time that i actually enjoyed my weekend? maybe i did, maybe i have not written it in my blog. well anyway... i had lots of food this weekend. seriously crazy man... i am reducing my weight training from twice a week to once a week... because.. i wanna enjoy hari raya over the weekend. lol :D and saving a lil bit... hahah dah lari budget whoaaa...

victoria station: i had my 2 diving buddies to KL over the weekend. T called me when i was upset with joey.. hhah don't ask me why, i am just not in the mood to talk over it here and spoil my fun weekend posting. to cut story short, we actually had a decent dinner since the last time that we saw each other. and i don't remember the last time i had dinner at victoria station.. maybe in the 90s?? goshh that long. the exterior of Victoria Station was not good.. but interior was still okay and nice :D i had rib eye and it was delicious.. and because the 2 guys were late - i demanded them to belanja me dinner.. hahah :D siapa suruh diorang make a datin sri waited for more than half an hour?!.. LOL :D ala consider it early birthday dinner treat lah.

my raya tour: this year is the first year that i actually went for raya tour myself (with joey). what do i mean? normally i will wait for any of my sisters or my parents - because macam malu pulak nak jalan sendiri. but this year, was the time i sort of main redah. and know what? i am glad i did it. i did not wait till there is an open house. i just called my uncle and ask if he is at home and if i can come to his house. the spread was superb...!!! i had salad, 4 pieces of lamb, spaghetti, mashed potato etc etc.. OMG... seriously.. i have never eaten that much!! tq so much to my cousins who prepared the food!!

Hari Raya 2016

it is indeed a simple and meaningful raya for me and family this year. i did not make any baju raya since i have tailored a few kebaya in dec 2015 during my trip to bandung. the only piece that i sent for tailor was the kain :D joey bought 2 baju melayu and shirt for himself and lisa had only 1 pair of baju kurung.

i lost 4 kg during fasting month and somehow i felt like i have become too skinny and it showed on the picture. and taraaaa gained 3 kg in 3 days after raya... hahaha :D ok ok.. time to toned up. now waiting for my PT's signal to start back my weights training.

we had our usual rounds in the first 3 days of raya. just that this year there was no padi field, quite frustrating.. heheh ended up we took photos like behind a huge natural swimming pool :D

i don't have that much to update about raya actually - just the usual celebration yearly. or.. ermmm actually i really want to write about something else.. lol :D

30th July, 2014: alhamdulillah, masih bernafas bersama2 keluarga tercinta. ingat tak aku pernah bagitau this year macam raya tak de mood? jadi kami beraya ala kadar sahaja. plan awal nak pi holiday ke perth... pergghh angan2 baekkk punya.. lepas tu kira punya kira, macam sayang pulak duit nak belanja banyak2 and planning tak cukup teratur. lagi pun my step son is coming next week jadi kena la standby apa2 yang patut untuk perbelanjaan. lepas tu bila plan ke perth gagal, N1 plan pulak nak ke jogjakarta... pada aku kalau setakat ke sana, errmm malas lah.. baik aku pi somewhere yang i really wanna go with the family - so plan itu gagal juga... akhirnya? hehehe :D tak ke mana... balik kampong macam biasa, hari raya tahun2 sebelumnya... ok jugak. 

tahun ni jugak kita try dok bermonopod... errmm but i dont really enjoy it just yet... baru sangat kut... hehehe :D and bila pakai gambor jadi goyang... ahaks :D

our first raya macam biasa di rumah my parents.. tahun ini kaiser kerja petang jadi belah pagi tu tak de lah kalut sangat tapi macam biasa dia bebel sebab kitorang lambat. sembahyang raya pun miss (untuk joey lah - sebab aku dgn lisa 'cuti' :P) hehehe :D anyway, we had a great time.. dah sudah bersalam-salaman, kami ke rumah ibu bapa mertua angkat di 1BU.. :D then 2nd raya and 3rd raya jalan2 ke KL - Sgor - Tg Karang macam biasa cuma tahun ni kurang sikit berjalan or ziarah menziarahi sebab mama kurang sihat... nanti jalan2 banyak kaki mama yang operate awal tahun tu berdenyut2.. jadi kami pergi ikut seniority :D

tahun ni masing2 tak bawak suami balik kampong... kaiser biasalah, dia memang ada class pukul 4pm jadi kalau ikut nanti jadi stress...hahahah :D nak balik cepat... baik tak yah ikut, lagi pun nanti kat kampong dia susah makan :p ahakss...

p/s: just additional info, aku memang suka berhijab whenever i get the chance.. jadi, janganlah ada yang confuse ye... insyaallah suatu hari nanti - will be fully berhijab :D

what is your theme color for this year's raya?

21st July 2014: i really cannot remember when did all these theme color started. must be from the celebrities. anyway it would be much easier to arrange if you are not married to a mat salleh who saves too much.. :p kaiser will not agree to buy baju melayu every year because he is a track bottom & singlet guy - what do you expect when you marry a personal trainer? hehehe :D so, every year my job is either pujuk him to get new pair, or i will get a new pair for him, or all of us will have to follow what color that he has in his closet. 

2014 raya, our theme is supposed to be green. lisa and i are easy to manage. i guess towards nearer to hari raya, the guys will follow.. and depending how much discount jusco would give, kaiser will then buy a new pair of green baju melayu, OR i will just get one and make sure he wears them! :p either green or orange lah... coz lisa and i got both colors. heheh :D

office open house @ KLHilton

for the first time since working here for the past 17 years... i actually stayed till the end of the event for hari raya open house. and this year, i get to chat with a few people i know... meet new people.. smiling, talking, joking... laughing.. and yeah.. i had a great time :) and owhh if you are wondering why are there a few in pink, that is because those who are entertaining clients/guests/customers should wear pink.. :p 

this year our office had the open house in a smaller scale, no spouse no children... my kids were sad at first for not getting invited, but this is how it is.. work is work - aku yang menurut perintah.. on the other hand, i stayed longer and managed to meet more people. :) 

and i get to actually chat with datuk astaman.. a nice VIP :) hmmphh.. it was good.. yeah... :D these are a few pictures i gathered in my phone camera and some from my friends. enjoy!
