The Lost City on Netflix - My Personal Review

i have been on netflix since this afternoon and getting bored looking for a movie. somehow as i was browsing through the movie titles, the trailer featured sandra bullock and channing tatum.. i went "eh.. i love both of them and the movie is in 2022" so, yeah why not?

turns out it was a romantic comedy. and it is so me, watching a romantic movie. somehow channing tatum's character is so not like him coz in the movie he is someone yang macam dumb blonde. body hot tapi busdus, like dat. 😂 it was full of action and i loved it. just that i couldn't stop thinking about sandra bullock's age.. cant believe she is already 60 and she still looks hot!

anyway, the movie is about a novel writer who was kidnapped and the guy who is the model for her novel cover tried to save her. they both ended in the jungle, getting shot at but they survived. and like any other romantic movie/story - i loved it more when it has a happy ending. 

in my personal opinion - the story is not something that you will remember for days. it was a kind of movie that, when you leave the cinema you will feel happy and that's it. aahh i dont quite know how to explain the feelings. maybe tak ada ummphh like that lah. 😆

but ok lah to watch, it was quite light.

Tickets To Paradise - My Personal Review

well i am a lil bit bias coz i love  both of them. i have not been being myself lately. and somehow just now i just found this movie just added into my netflix. so i thought why not. it was about parents and their only daughter who somehow after graduation did the same thing like what they did when they were young ie got married early and i guess too young to understand what marriage is all about. 

what i love about the movie is the scenery -  it was in Bali and i really miss travelling. circumstances made me end up like where i ended up now. i miss being anywhere near the sea. i felt like i am being deprived with from what i enjoy most. *sigh* 

i miss travelling really bad. i wanna be able to do that soon - real soon please. ooh i have deviated from the original post. 

well, okay, the story is about a parent who was trying to ruin their daughter's wedding because they feel that their daughter is making a mistake. one thing that parents should not be doing is to mess with their children's life. let them make their own decision and face their own mistakes. let them learn themselves. stop making decision for them - stop interfering in their life(s).

i love this movie, love the actors and actresses and just love these kind of love stories, and family. go watch it on netflix while it is still there.

Rescued by Ruby My Personal Review [Netflix]

i have soft spot about dogs. i know we cannot have dogs at home but i just love to watch dogs on tik tok and movies and yeah at times i wish i can have dogs as pet/family like mischa. found this movie on netflix called Rescued by Ruby this morning when i woke up before 6am. it doesn't look too heavy to watch so i decided to click on it.

story is about a dog that has been in the shelter for 6 months and each time adopters came to get her, she will be returned because she is tough to handle. in the end a police came by and adopt her to train her as K9 rescue dog. it wasn't easy at first but Ruby is such a special dog. oh gosh she is so sweet and i cried as i watch the movie. she is so so smart. 

the first task that she was given was to find a dead body in a house. she found the body but Daniel, her partner did not believe her. he was upset with her that she ran away that night. i tell you, even dog's can sulk ok! so i guess cats have feelings too? anyway, Daniel went high and low looking for Ruby and Ruby came back after she heard how sorry Daniel was for getting upset with her and not believing in her. 

the last task was to look for a boy who got lost while trekking in the jungle with her mom. Ruby found her down the cliff. oh well - it made me cry again.

Love Again - Movie Review Netflix

oh gosh i wanted to do something else but i just needed to write a review about this movie so much because i am such a hopeless romantic person. not sure if that is good or not 😂 anyway, i couldnt sleep last night so i was browsing a movie on netflix. looked for romantic comedy so that i wont have nightmare when i sleep 😋

this movie is so sweet and yeah romantic of course. i love the actress - she is so effortless beautiful. the movie is about 2 people who lost their love ones (partners) in 2 different ways. the woman, Mira Ray actually saw her boyfriend hit by a drunk driver in front of her eyes - when of course most people in love will always dream of growing old together. this is so sad, and for 2 years she is still grieving. i love the idea of her texting her dead boyfriend's number just to talk it out. and so the number is actually being used by another guy now, Rob Burns. 

i think if i were Rob, i would do what he did. just read and get to know the sender. or perhaps i would just tell her that i was looking for her - for the person who sent the texts. so anyway, as always, women will always get angry first then only realize that she is missing something. 

so guys, please watch the movie LOVE AGAIN on netflix, coz i love the movie, it just made me teary and it was really really sweeeetttt... 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me

Polis Evo3 - Movie Review

I have been wanting to watch the movie for 2 weeks but TH didn't want to watch the movie. so last night I made him join me. well, I did gave him a choice, we can go to the same cinema together but he watch Transformers and I will watch Polis Evo3 unfortunately the timing was quite far apart. So kena la tengok jugak sama dengan I kan. 😋

Even the starting of the movie was funny, having Zizan Razak, what do you expect? 

TH's comment was "orang perempuan nak tengok cerita ni sebab nak tengok Shahiezy Sam tak pakai baju" 

I was like, "Huh? Ada ke scene dia tak pakai baju?"  Seriously I didn't know anything about that. The only reason why I wanted to watch was because I watch the 1st and 2nd Polis Evo and I want to watch the new one lah. 

Anyway, love the movie, they have funny dialogues and love all the actors & actress ie Zizan, Shahiezy, Shaarnaz, SyafiqKyle, Nora Danish. Just one comment though, the lady snipper, she keeps on chewing the chewing gum, acah2 macho ke kalau polis dok kunyah chewing gum macam tu?

Part last tu ada la Afdlin Shauki kejap sangat.. the action scenes were good. the fighting etc. and until the end of the movie was fun and funny. I recommend you to go and watch - and walaupun SKOP Production - it was not directed by the Samdol... it was directed by Syafiq Yusof. 😋

And owh... memang la ada scene Shahizy Sam tak pakai baju and yes his body was muscular and hotzz.. but errmm tidak menarik pandangan or menggairahkan I pun. 😋

Putri Untuk Pangeran

 

aku tak ingat macam mana aku boleh terjebak.. owhh.. ok, it was from netflix, and the title was Princess for the Prince. so ingatkan citer omputih. aleh2 citer Indo. and for some reason this sinetron or drama was not translated. and bermulalah aku follow from one episode to another. pelik juga tak habis2.. sekali rupanya 77 episodes gais!!

OMG! tapi sebab dah start terpaksa lah follow. aku ni jenis yang suka tengok kisah2 students and love story macam ni. tapi i tell you, the story dah serabut habis. everyone is connected to each other. korang kalau nak star tengok boleh tapi, kat netflix sampai episode 77 je and sebenarnya total episodes sebanyak 492 kalau tak silap.. ha.. kau mampu? 😂

• bestnya hidup macam orang kaya
• how they can be so powerful
• masing2 berusaha untuk jaga hati masing2
• how tulus cinta rizky pada putri
• he is so cool, handsome, kaya pulak tu

• setiakawan antara death flowers and also trio michin walaupun kadang2 macam tak masuk akal
• kasih sayang antara putri dengan ibu dia - so close and made me miss my moments with my own princess
• bila pak raymond jatuh cinta dengan ibu nawang - so sweet
• bestnya bila ada orang kaya raya fall in love with you - tapi bila ala2 gangster tak best lah

• pangeran yang tak paham bahasa
• pangeran yang ego
• pangeran yang kasar
• mel yang dah spoilt brat
• citra yang mengada2 as a girlfriend - suka cari pasal walaupun sebenarnya tak ada pasal dengan atta, boyfriend dia tu

• tak honest dengan perasaan masing2
• rizky yang tak beriyer untuk fight for pangeran
• kalau aku atta, dah lama aku break je dengan si citra tu

so, korang... nak tengok konflik yang tak habis2 ni? sila la tengok ya.. best la tapi lama2 letih kepala otak. 😂

Bridgerton on Netflix - my personal review

i accidentally clicked on this drama series one of the nights, and fell asleep. then i realize that it was a drama series instead of a movie on netflix. i love the drama so much, though it made me had to really listen and think during every dialogue spoken. felt like reading one of my literature book back in high school. of course i hardly read nowadays. 😋 

love all the women's dresses and how all of them look so beautiful in the dresses. and the hairstyles make me wanna try every single style that was shown in the drama. somehow it shows that during those years, women (lady) are treated with high dignity. just that about the arranged marriage is quite scary. perhaps it was normal for those days. and a woman would be lucky to have a good looking man, rich and a gentleman at the same time. 

i was mainly attracted to a few characters in the drama but of course the main one, Duke Hastings or  also known as Simon. **sigh** even while typing this. he is so charming, handsome and rich! and.. not forgetting sexy, but, not sexy enough for me LOL 😂 my TH is sexier 😎

anyway, at most i can watch like 3 episodes in a day coz my brain gets too tired coz i really have to focus to what they were saying - and there are so many words that i have not heard before. by the way, i am so proud of myself because my guess of who Lady Whistledown is, is correct! yeahhaaa

you must watch it - not for errmm below 18 though. i strongly recommend it.

Love Guaranteed - My Personal Review

Ariana, Nick's ex fiance. perghh memang so model material

after many times, urmmm ok lah not that many but a few times i got hooked accidentally watching indo movies. finally i am back at english movie. yey. 😆 love all the actors and actress in this movie. honestly aku tak kenal pun diorang. but the character pun best. 

the story is about a lawyer yang suka tolong orang walaupun terpaksa bekerja secara percuma. demi nak mambantu orang. and sampaikan hampir2 kehilangan her lawyer firm. but i guess, kalau kita ikhlas tolong orang yang memerlukan, Allah akan berikan ganjaran yang lebih. 

so that is what the story is all about. dari kerja pro bono, she got a client yang in the end dia menang kes USD500,000. her client, Nick Evans nak sue an online dating company called 'love guaranteed' sebab dia dah keluar dating 1000 kali tapi tak jugak jatuh cinta. 😆 macam2 kan, kalau kat US ni. semua main saman je. lepas tu bukan sikit2, sebab lawyer dia nak claim for USD1M. 

but anyhow, disebabkan in the end Nick jatuh cinta pulak dengan his lawyer - and boleh lah dikaitkan jugak through the website, and Nick decided to tarikh balik his demand. but in the end, yang best pulak, the founder of the online dating website was so touched with their love story, she decided to derma the amount of money as demanded earlier. 

bila dah few indo movies, semua kisah best friend tukar jadi kekasih, at least this one, fresh sikit, lari dari style cerita2 gitu. 😍 kalau korang nak tengok, boleh carik kat Netflix ya. best citer ni.. sweet sanatt..

watched on 24 dec 2018: this review was in my draft posting that i forgot to finish and post it up. so here goes. 

i saw the trailer about this movie on twitter. and when i saw that sandra bullock is the actress, lagi la i want to watch the movie. tapi i can feel that the movie is gonna be full of suspense. so when MrH was here, i asked him if he wants to watch this on netflix. memang sakit jantung kejap lah tengok citer ni.. ehh bukan kejap but almost the whole movie. aku dah siap tutup muka dengan cushion while asking MrH to tell me the progress of the movie. 

penat sebab you can't see what is actually attacking them. and not knowing what is their future like. she had to keep on rowing the boat for many hours to go to the next destination blindfolded. memang challenging gila. and the 2 kids were so obedient. sedih pun ya tengok... but they were all so strong. dengan current lagi... dengan hasutan from the voice that they hear.. with the 'zombies' lagi... adehhh.. memang aku suka sangat sandra bullock ni. 

and owh.. this was the first weekend that MrH and i watched netflix together. movie marathon i think. so back to the movie. sedih jugak sebab the guy who helped sandra bullock and her kids tu mati dulu. semangat diorang memang kental. pada aku when i watched this movie, memang jantung aku laju gila la. penat tengok tapi best and ending dia memang tak dijangkakan. 

kesimpulannya, happy ending. hehehe 😁 sorry la nak cerita panjang2, movie ni dah lama aku tengok so the excitement dah merudum sebab dah berbulan2 baru nak update cerita dia. 

Avengers End Game - my personal review

tapi lepas ni jangan marah aku pulak kalau ini jadi spoiler. memang la aku excited nak tengok citer ni. berangan nak tengok gold class sebab aku tahu movie ni panjang.. berbaloi kalau nak dok kat recliner chair tu for 3 hours kut. but due to time constraints, and limited place, terima je lah tengok kat aeonau2. masa mula2 book, tak sampai pun 10 orang kat panggung tu, tapi malam tadi bila pergi, dah penuh panggung dengan manusia. 

aku keletihan sebenarnya. dengan tak berapa sihat lagi (korang mesti dah muak kan dengan aku yang tak berapa sihat ni) but anyway macam tu la kenyataan nya. jangan MrH bosan dengan keadaan aku sudah. tapi bukan selalu aku macam ni. just that it happens.. shit happens. aku rindu sangat kat MrH sebenarnya tapi kena lah terima kenyataan about long distance relationship ni. it is pretty expensive. but, i guess sometimes love needs sacrifice? cheywah... #tolongjanganmuntah. aku hargai his pengorbanan on time and energy untuk aku. ehh.. apsal aku terpesong ni? hahaha 😀 dah terdivert pulak arah tujuan. 

ok lah, aku buat pengakuan. aku tertido beberapa kali during the first 1.5 hours of the movie. al maklum, penat balik kerja, had early dinner, makan ubat and pi zumba. balik zumba je, mandi terus pi movie. sampai joey tanya, 

"mama nak pergi macam tu?"

"hah ye lah, dah siap ni."

"tapi rambut basah2 macam tu?"

"errr.. yeah.. tak leh ke?"

"perempuan memang macam tu ke? biasa eh keluar rambut basah? ke, mama nak pakai cap?"

"ermm.. i should wear cap la ni?

so aku terus sambar cap aku and joey nampak lebih tenang.. LOL 😄 and bila dia nampak aku pakai selipar...

"ma.. pakai selipar je?"

"errmm ye la.. tak de sape nak nampak pun comot2"

"ma, ramai la orang nanti"

"hemmm ok, dalam kereta mama ada kasut" so untuk menyenangkan hati joey, aku tukar la to my sneakers. nampak tak betapa joey menjaga keterampilan mama dia.. hehehe 😄 ok, back to avengers. 

memandangkan aku tak berapa focus, tak leh la aku nak bagi review terlalu details. and memang superheros ramai gila. superheroes yang korang harap timbul balik, akan timbul balik. aku stress tengok thor perut boroi sebenarnya. and diorang nampak macam dah putus asa and macam tak berapa ada energy and confidence. fighting scenes memang dahsyat. aku terkejut gak kenapa tetiba captain marvel jadi the most powerful antara semua superheroes tu. sebab sebelum keluar movie captain marvel tu aku tak tau pun dia terrer.. 😄 anyway, memang akan ada superheroes yang mati. korang nak aku bagitau ke? errr.. korang tengok sendiri lah. 

and macam biasa lepas movie, aku borak la dengan joey pasal movie tu. and kenapa some of the superheroes dimatikan watak diorang. sedih la jugak.. and macam, eh.. lepas ni dia dah tak de? haa gitu lah persoalan dalam kepala otak aku. so, explanation nya, contract diorang dah tamat jadi superheros.. hehehe bagi chance kat superheros baru & muda.. sedey weh tengok captain america aku dah tua... sob sob...and iron man dah... huk huk... 

ha korang pi la layan avengers tu.. best.. aku kena tengok lagi sekali rasanya, cuma sakit pinggang la duduk for straight 3 hours. 

one two jaga

before i start on my review, aku dah salah faham sebenarnya. all the promo that i saw stated Bront Palarae's name. so i thought that he will be acting in the movie. so, yeah the main reason i went to watch it is because of him. yes he acted but not in the whole movie. he is the producer of the movie and his part was only towards the end. so, in short if my reason is to watch him - memang tak puas di situ. LOL 😁

okay, but, after watching the movie - in my opinion, it is a sad truth that is happening around us. memang kadang2 memeranjatkan and how people will compare the wrongdoing with some other wrongdoing that to them is bigger. the truth is, yang salah tetap salah. perbetulkan for a better generation and i know it is not easy. 

sedih & takut bila fikirkan. but i supposed one two jaga berani to expose this matter to the public. and i heard the film is also being boycott by our police (some)? kawan aku cakap lah...  look, we cannot deny that it is happening. what we can do is fight habis2an all the corruption. dada aku berat lepas habis tengok movie nih.. tapi best!

malaysians, pergi la tengok, it is not like the normal movie cintan cintun or lawak2 bodoh yang memang so typical orang akan tonton. this is a film with message! a very good one indeed.

Avengers - Infinity War

i am a fan of all these superheroes.. marvel or dc, i like both i guess. honestly i might just get confuse with those two. kalau borak dengan joey sure aku kena marah/bebel dengan dia. joey ni kurang sabar sikit. kalau tanya lebih2 pun nanti dia marah. tapi aku selalu gelakkan dia jer. hehehe 😀 tu la satu2nya buah hati pengarang jantung aku - sorang2nya anak teruna. masalahnya.. well bukan la masalah sebenarnya tapi cabaran, dia ni banyak ikut rentak aku masa muda. so aku kena banyak la bersabar... macam tu la agaknya mama dengan ayah aku dulu. bezanya dulu adalah mama dengan ayah... sekarang ni, aku sorang je layan kerenah si joey tu. apa2 aku kena fikir sendiri.. nak discuss pun nak discuss dengan siapa? kann.. anyway, dah melalut posting aku ni. sebenarnya aku nak tulis pasal avengers. 

as soon as tau movie ni keluar, joey dah tanya, "mama bila kita nak pergi tengok" si joey ni aku kena book awal2... itu pun dah ada kawan2 dia ajak dia pi tengok.. aku dah bagi dia 'the dagger look!'  and there are certain movies yang aku akan pergi tengok kat gold class sebab aku nak dia punya sound effect and keselesaan sambil menonton the movie. believe it or not.. belum pun keluar movie tu, semua dah fully booked. and aku pulak kena suit kan dengan jadual kelas2 aku. end up aku dapat hari jumaat kat pavillion 27 april 2018 pukul 11.40pm. alhamdulillah. 

kesimpulannya memang cerita tu best sebab aku suka fighting scenes dia. in between tu memang la diorang melawak. but bila ramai superheros bergabung, tiba2 aku rasa dunia ni selamat jer... cheywah.. hahaha 😁 tapi betul lah macam joey cakap, takat ironman tu dah tak de apa yang luarbiasa dari biasa sebab dia memang power and brilliant. yang lain dia kata thor, lenmacam kali ni. errr.. eh, ni review aku ke review joey sebenarnya? 😋

aku memang ternanti2 watak captain america. and this time, his appearance memang lain with his beard and all. nampak matang and not as blur as before. baju dia pun smart je. kalau dapat peluang tengok kali kedua aku ok je kut. tapi rasa macam nak gi gold class jugak lah... ngada tak? aku nak la sandar2 kat recliner tu.. hehehehe 😜 and bila sampai kat wakanda tu macam tak sangka negara tu macam dahsyat betul teknologi diorang. memang kagum lah. errmm ok aku tak boleh nak cerita lebih2.. nanti orang marah. 

oh ya, aku cadang nak pakai baju captain america. pastu nak beli tak de design yang aku suka, so aku pun pakai lah tshirt joey yang lisa belikan. hehhe tapi yang best, semalam joey balik kerja dia belikan aku tshirt captain america!! yahuuuu... alhamdulillah

made of honour

it was a lazy sunday for me yesterday. it seems that all my plan (last minute anyway) went down the drain. there is no yoga for this sunday and next sunday so i decided to get out of bed later than usual. end up i got up really late. my mom had to show lah there were lempeng at her house. so i took my sambal ikan bilis and brought to my parents house. drop joey off to work at lrt setiawangsa. somehow, i felt so bored at my parents house so i released the 3 kittens! hahaha 😋😈 i am sure ginger, snowy and moana loved the freedom i gave them. 

then, i wanted to color my hair but my hairdresser was on leave, when i queried at klcc, it was gonna cost me rm600! no way i was gonna spend my hard earned money just for my hair!! then i wanted to do my facial, my beautician was also on off day... dayummm... the only lucky thing i got was to get the makcik urut to come over to the house for 2.5 hours of full body massage! yeehaa!! 💃 and after the body massage i decided to buy a movie from hypptv. perrggh punya la panjang intro posting ni kan? eppp.. bagi la chance.. time2 ada mood nak bercerita ni. 

at first i thought this story was gonna be boring. but after a while i kinda like it. ye lah.. i ni kan hopeless romantic fool, someone used to tell me. hahaha 😃 but it is okay - coz that is the truth. i don't know how to share with you about this movie but what i can say is i enjoyed watching this movie and makes me wonder, or sort of miss being with a mat salleh. does this means that i can't have a relationship with an asian anymore? hmmmm...  for now, it doesn't matter as long as he is a muslim and practices. 😚

good things sometimes don't last

i have been having a lived in maid for almost 2 years. at first kaiser didn't want a lived in maid but i persuaded him since i get too tired every time after coming home from work and classes. and i didn't like it when joey didn't get his proper meal when he gets back from school. i have a good maid right now but she is going off soon - this saturday to get married. she is not only a maid but at times she can be a good listener too. and she doesn't blab about our households to other maid when they have gathering :D so, yeah... i am so sad... and nowadays it is not easy to get a maid. she is so fun that she enjoys following me for my zumba events and she will help out selling tshirts. when i had yoga classes during weekdays, she can be trusted that she would take a cab from our home and open up the studio for me and handle the students.

i knew she is resigning just that i was hoping that she would change her mind. but last night the news really blew me up and i can feel my blood rushing up my face. :'( i texted kaiser and told him about the news, and he is sad too. so i guess sometimes, good things don't last and everything is on loan by the Almighty :(

last night i went to watch Dilwale for the 3rd time and this time we belanja Ati since she is going off soon... we had a good time.. although i errrmm kinda slept in the cinema.. hahahah :D we had to split the seating as they were full!

suamiku encik perfect 10 - my personal review

why do i often get sick during holidays? demmmm... and i dont know if my review is biased because i am unwell :p heheheh :D well okay, here goes. the 3 of us will go and watch malay movies together coz others are either not interested or they are not free lah. our latest movies was suamiku encik perfect 10 with aaron aziz and lisa surihani as the main actor and actress. there are a few more that i recognized their faces but i dont know their real names.

we had the same opinion about the whole movie. it was a relaxing story, nice to watch but there was no ummph... tak ada rasa kesan di hati. the way that they captured the movie was quite kurang menyenangkan especially when those with make ups we can can see that the make up was so thick and messy. and those without full make up can see their open pores.

their acting were good... semua pelakon2 berpengalaman and best tengok diorang berlakon.. it was funny lah.. comedy best.. entertaining. the ending of the story was something that normally penonton nak, yang jahat mati and yang baik will be together... etc etc.. :D 

part that i will remember most was the character of Tok Toh Puan :D best giler ala2 ketua mafia gitu.. hehehe :D and she is so cool and wise and smart thinking. ibu to alia was sexy lah.. hehehe :D agak2 orang2 utara memang lagu tu kaa??

ohh yeaa apa kes lengan aaron aziz siap ada tanda bekam? duuhh... 

would i recommend the movie? yea why not... entertaining lah but kalau nak compare, manisnya cinta lagi best :D

we postponed the plan to watch the movie for more than 2 weeks... i wanted to watch with lisa, but then she said my mom wants to watch too. since i was away in phuket, lisa waited for me to come back then only we plan to go. then, my mom went for a holiday, postponed again until last saturday night, i was at the sofa watching some movie, suddenly there was tayangan perdana on manisnya cinta. it was only half an hour and their marketing strategy works. that night i straight away booked 4 tickets to watch the movie at wangsa walk mall for sunday :D

we loved the movie very much. it was a sweet funny romantic comedy and ala faily tale. and in between the story not all are beautiful. of course in any family, there will be drama.. the not nice part. combination of fazura and lisa surihani as sisters were just perfect. love to watch them both. shahiezy sam was very natural - of course not as macho as some tough actor but his acting was just right and sweet. when i came out of the cinema my face was like baru bangun tidur - some of the scenes were sad so it did make me cry - a lot. not everyone would be lucky like 'ifti' to have back a good man in her life. just one thing, why is it that it has got to be a pilot laa? :p

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones - my personal review

at first i was dragging myself to go to the cinema. i am so not a movie person. its too cold, and the seats are not comfy. yea yea.. ihave said this before in my previous movies' postings.. but yesterday, joelis and i went anyway... i just cannot stand lisa's whining wanting to watch the movie. and i supposed, the advertising is really good. and since i told lisa we can watch after her exam, guess what... she started bugging me on her last day of exam! arrgghh bingit sihh :p 

so yesterday she asked again.. i said, kaiser wouldnt like it if they sleep late on a school night. but.. hmm okay, i gave them conditions, homework must be done by 7pm and settle their bags and school uniforms as well. and since its all done... we went off to watch it...  i forgot what was the movie about..heheh i wasnt paying attention before we left..  didnt know what to expect. lisa was excited - of course! she has the collections of books on city of bones!

it was a good movie, i must say. full of actions.. it was really really good! and i dont know how else to say about the movie. and maybe because i dont read the books, i think i enjoyed the movie more than lisa because i dont know what to expect. according to lisa, the movie did not really follow the book's story line... but.. what the heck, it was still good to me!

the only set back was when they did a close up on the guys' faces when they wanted to change into werewolves, the fangs looked really fake and plastic.. hehe... other than that it is a beautiful and good movie to watch.. not for young kids though.. 13 and above should be ok... although joey slept with his room lights on because he was afraid during one scene when a lil girl changed into an ugly vampire like.. with the eyes rolled up!

and owhh... all the actors are way too skinny... hahaha :D and no liking the gay parts.. although i find it funny too.. ehheeh :D

i highly recommend this movie :D go go go!! enjoy some of the scenes :)

Star Trek Into Darkness - my personal review

watched this last night. i am not a fan of star trek, but the trailer in the cinema when we went to watch ironman3 was awesome. never thought that lisa would be really interested to watch the star trek. i watched it when i was much much younger and not so thrilled about it. 

by staying near the mall, we took it for granted to leave later... we were almost 20 minutes late, and we missed the intro :( aiyahh... *should go again :P* hehehe

star trek into darkness was full of actions. to tell you the truth, i am already in a yo yo mode for some reasons.. and watching this movie really made my heart beats so fast and hard! hahha :D the spaceship was so huge... and sound was so loud and deep.. it was a good movie.. full of shocking scenes as well.

i like capt kirk and spock's characters. spock has no emotions.. and capt kirk has a mind of his own when at times, his decision almost jeopardizing his crews' lives. but towards the end, when the need comes, he decides like a true captain. yey! and i just cannot stop thinking who is this capt kirk @ chris pine... and finally i remembered after googling him.. hehehe... he acted in princess diaries 2 and also in it means war.

the ending was quite predictable when lisa knew that they will bring capt kirk to live by using khan's blood. oh, by the way khan is another character acted by benedict cumberbatch, another familier face. some illogical here, according to joey... how can someone from the past... say, 300 years old can be so powerful compared to current human? and smarter? hmmm.. anyways the actions ie fighting, shootings were superb...

my name is 'khan'... and i am not a terrorist... hahahaha :D

when we got home, kaiser asked if the movie was good. i'd say yes it was... as compared to ironman3? it is different satisfaction. i can say that watching star trek into darkness is tiring... because the action was non stop! hehhehe :D thrilling, exciting... :D go watch!

ironman3 - my personal review

oh wow, it has been more than 3 weeks i think after we watched this movie! really... when we are blocked from blogging, i totally forgot about it. anyway, yeah... we (kaiser, joey and i) went to watch ironman3 at pavillion. the only one who has experienced gold seat was joey. so, kaiser and i were jakun a bit lah... since most seats were taken due to ironman3 was still selling like hot cakes.. joey seated alone below our lane. as soon as we entered the cinema, he went straight to his seat and recline his recliner seat.. waahh...

what can i say about the movie?? hmmm... i wanna watch again!! and lisa missed it.. she didn't want to go because exam was near. tony stark is handsome as always... and arrogant some people would say. in this movie, he fought more without his metal suit. so i guess he is strong with and without his ironman suit :) heh heh :D best best best.. :p 

only knew that he has anxiety problem. which i have too, and i can relate to his feeling during the anxiety attack.. gosh... and when his mansion blew up...OMG!! and he still can afford to act cool about it. hhmmpphh... i want to be rich like him :p and owhh his car!! wowieee...

love the part when his army of ironmen came to assist during the war... perghh it was really awesome!! and i actually sat straight from lying on my recliner.. oh man.. i am starting to enjoy in the gold class cinema.. o'uh... :o :p

after joelis finishes their exam, we are going for the movie - again!
