mama & cataract

3 sept is the date that was decided for mama to have her cataract removed. it is a half hour to 1 hour procedure that do not  need the patient to be admitted unless there is complication. so i decided to take the day off and accompanied my mom and dad on the day. was supposed to leave home 630am but since joey is going back to his campus about the same time, i waited a bit just to make sure that joey is ready by the time harith, lisa's friend come and pick him up. nak tumpang orang kena la standby awal kan.

it was quite a long wait. we arrived in time ie 7.30am for mama to register herself at the daycare. alhamdulillah parking was easy - maybe because we were still early. tak tau the exact time for the procedure coz it all depends on the doctor in charge. i fell asleep a few times jugak lah. went down once to get mama's meds at the pharmacy and bought breakfast for myself. ayah prefers to go down himself. biasa la tu.. mesti nak hisap rokok. 😜

mama's procedure time was written on the white board at 11.30am. hmm okay.. gitu gini about after 2 hours, should be done already. while waiting, ayah and i went to the cafe for lunch. ayah met his old friend.i went back up to the daycare just in time when mama came back. she looked a bit drowsy and tired. sian mama 😊 she was okay after a about 2 hours. my mom is a strong woman, respect her for that. and she is not the manja2 type. insyallah she will recover fast.
