Background: My name is Ain Kalam and I am a wife in leisure and also a Zumba Instructor for the past 8 years.
What NuSkin products am I on: For those who have not heard my sharing before this, I started with TR90 products in 2019 because I gained almost 10kg after I got into an accident in Jan 2019 and also with the medications. I had pneumonia and I didn’t know it, and I went for diving trip in Maldives. At 28 metres depth, I stopped breathing and the Instructor had to do a CPR on me and was on emergency speedboat to the hospital. After that incident my lungs became very fragile, I could not do any exercise because I will get short of breath easily. I got very frustrated in life at that time. Then, I took Duo Pack as I learned that these 2 amazing products are good for internal health, for my lungs recovery which I am still on until now.
And after that because of the believe in NuSkin products, I am using Nutriol Haircare set, other Pharmanex supplements just so that I experience them and all the Galvanic Series, LumiSpa & AgeLOC boost for external beauty. It is true, the more products you are on, the easier for you to share the benefits with others.
Why NuSkin: I was the Head of Customer Service & Marketing with a Utility company for 24 years before I decided to take up VSS because I wanted to do NuSkin full time. At that point of time, I felt burnt out and going to the office was only for the money. I like the 5-figure income that the company pays me monthly but there was no excitement anymore. I also realize that the 5-figure income that I have been receiving is active income. I am a loyal employee but I also tried to look for other opportunity or new challenges. However, I find that no other company would pay me that kind of salary because of the line that I am in, except if/when I am serious in NuSkin, I know I can achieve more.
I studied about NuSkin’s background and amazed with the technology and achievement behind this strong company. Where can you get to start a business locally and can be expanded globally with low risk? I had a dance studio before and after 2 years I let it go because I could not handle with being an employee and doing the business thinking of paying rent, paying instructors and maintaining the studio. But I find that with NuSkin, you can do it part time and/or full time with less headache on all those overhead costs. No need to think of staff, R&D, packing, delivering, isn’t it wonderful?
I am always a networker and has been with other MLM companies before, but none of the companies that I joined has what NuSkin has, and of course the strength of STWW with all the complete training, very organized, and the culture that we cannot get from other place. One may be a NuSkinner but if they are not with ST, it would be tough.
Why must I succeed here: This time I will answer it differently. What do I have to lose? :D I gain, most importantly – good health, Insha’Allah. Originally NuSkin was my retirement plan, my plan B and now that I am in leisure it has become my plan A. After attending the last Super Friday, my answer to this question will be time freedom and financial freedom. I can be with my husband, parents and young adult kids more. I can be debt free and have the extra cash to do whatever I want. When I left my monthly paid job, I still have high commitment to settle.
So, what I did differently was I go outside of my close circle of friends, I must thank Shireen and my sister Adude for reminding me of how or what I needed to do to be successful here.
I had a zoom meeting supported by Shireen with someone I know more than 20 years ago but never really talk with him. Then from that meeting I found out what he wants for himself, so met up with him (with tight SOP) and closed Duo Pack for him and cleanser for his wife. My breakthrough was to call people. I would mass WhatsApp and once I see them asking or with blue tick, I will call or invite for zoom session and ask instead of continue just chatting.
Next goal: Quietly I have achieved my goal, which is to be on DCC and to be one of the sharers again after my last sharing in February 2021. Next is, I want to achieve my EBP. I want to be someone who can inspire many and make them want to change themselves like I do or more.
And of course, to be able to go Moscow with my husband and my beloved Tsunami, STWW team!
I wish to thank my sister Adude (Zida Kalam) who brought me in NuSkin in 2019. My utmost gratitude to many NuSkin lifeline in AA team, thank you so much to all my uplines and team members who always cheer for others and believe that all of us can achieve success.
