1st Runner Up on Daily Closing Challenge

Intro: Hi Good Monday Morning my ST family!. First of all, my utmost gratitude to AA Team for coming up with Daily Closing Challenge (DCC) since the earlier MCO last year. For those who are attending DCC for the first time, welcome and you will learn a lot in this channel.

Background: My name is Ain Kalam and I am a wife in leisure, mother of 2 young adult and also a Zumba Instructor for the past 8 years.

What NuSkin products u on: I got involved with Nu Skin in 2019 after I gained a lot of weight due to stress eating and medication. I had an injury and raptured my lungs. Ever since my lungs became very fragile, I could not do any exercise because I will get short of breath easily. I got admitted to the hospital 4 times in 2019 all due to lungs issue. I started my TR90 journey to get back to my original physical appearance. Then added with Duo Pack as I learned that these 2 amazing products are good for internal health, for my lungs recovery which I am still on until now.

And after that I fell in love with all NuSkin products including its beauty devices that I make it a point to have every one of them and share the goodness with family and friends.

Why NuSkin: I was the Head of Customer Service & Marketing with a Utility company for 24 years before I decided to take up VSS because I wanted to do NuSkin full time. When I started NuSkin part time, the more I join ST gathering in Publika at that time the more it injected positive vibes in me. It has been a very long time since I met people with different background who would support and help each other up unconditionally. Really love the spirit and culture in ST! And to be honest, I am more exposed to being an entrepreneur when I started to join more and more online trainings with ST.

If you or other people ask, why NuSkin, I would ask back, why not?

When I was in the corporate, although I am a loyal employee, I still try to look for other opportunity or new challenges. However, I find that no other company would pay me that kind of salary because of the line that I am in, except if/when I am serious in NuSkin, I know I can achieve more.

I studied about NuSkin’s background and amazed with the technology and achievement behind this strong company. Where can you get to start a business locally and can be expanded globally with low risk? My experience having a dance studio before, taught me the challenges of having traditional business. I find that with NuSkin, you can do it part time and/or full time with less headache - no need to think of staff, R&D, packing, delivering, isn’t it great?

Why must you succeed here: In this sharing, I don’t change my goal but change my attitude and strategy. What do I have to lose? :D I gain, most importantly – good health, Insha’Allah. 

Originally Nu Skin was my retirement plan, my plan B and now that I am in leisure it has become my plan A. After attending one of the Super Friday session, my answer to this question will be time freedom and financial freedom. I can be with my husband, parents and young adult kids more. I can be debt free and have the extra cash to do whatever I want. When I left my monthly paid job, I still have high commitment to settle.

So, my closings yesterday other than to a few customers, was to my Unit Trust Consultant after having an OPP over zoom. It all started when i wanted to check my investment status, then, my consultant wanted to sell a new investment plan. Somehow i transformed the session into a health session zoom meeting. I started planting seed since 2019 when i first joined Nu Skin, but at that time perhaps i was still very new and did not approach the right way. I learned through lots of training as well by Shireen and the latest one was to eliminate self-doubt.

What I did differently was I practices the 5 sec rules in elimination self-doubt, and also added more of my gratitude actions daily and really look at my plans.

Next goal: To share in DCC can be addictive, I wanted to share again and again after my last sharing on 14 June 2021. In this sharing, I don’t change my goal but change my attitude and strategy - you can be persistent but at the same time you need to learn and grow from your mistakes.

Next is, I want to achieve my EBP. I want to be someone who can inspire many and make them want to change themselves like I do or more.

And of course, to be able to go Moscow with my husband and my beloved Tsunami, STWW team!
