alhamdulillah.... thanks to orochi for the delicious sardine roll. haahah... lots of sardine and the best part, it was not oily... so i asked her how did she did it... she said, fried with very little oil, spread it on the frying pan, make sure the fire is small on the stove. another way, that we found out is, to get the eggs crispy/crunchy... just that you'll have to fry it with lots of oil.. something like ermmm..deep fried...
testimonial: sedapnya lembut... isi banyak... esok buat lah lagi! hahahaha :D

Jazz up your French toasts by filling them up with sardines and deep frying them! These make a great take-away breakfast for busy mornings or for little kids running out to the park in the evenings. Make as many as you deign to; these will run out in a flash.
Ingredients
Filling:
1 small can of sardines, discard all but a few tablespoons of the sauce
1 large yellow onion, chopped
4 chilli padi, chopped
2 limes
Salt
1 loaf soft white bread
2 eggs, beaten well
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for deep frying
Mash the sardines with the chopped onions and chilli padi. Cook it down for about five minutes to dry it out a little. Heat the oil for deep frying. Season the beaten egg mixture with salt and pepper. Lay a little filling towards one side of the bread, and roll it tight. Dip in the egg mixture and fry until golden brown and crispy.
